Prairie Home Companion retrospective
Off topic for my usual intentions here, but Prairie Home Companion was an amazing find for me years ago. I stopped listening for some reason but it will always have a fond place in my heart. Nice story here.

Survey on legal research skills
Guess what? It's not good. The
survey "asked respondents how well recent law
school graduates performed certain legal research skills. Generally
speaking, the librarian respondents reported significantly more negative
opinions about
the research skills of recent law school graduates than reported by
similarly situated attorneys. On question after question, a
significantly greater proportion of the librarians rated the ability of
recent graduates to carry out the research task at issue
as “unacceptable,” “poor” or both, than did the attorneys."
